06/12/2006 Go back
Silverdell, are pleased to announce the purchase of its first acre of green belt land in Keston, Kent, where they plan to plant 1075 sapling trees.

This is the first part of an initiative in recognition of the works Silverdell are carrying out on behalf of Royal Dutch Shell and acts as a measure of their commitment to reducing the effects of carbon emissions. Silverdell wish to continue with the purchasing of land and planting new trees and propose this by the following:

• For every order up to £10k placed with the company, they will plant a sapling tree,
• For every order of £10k and over, they will plant a further 2 sapling trees,
• For orders over £1million, Silverdell will purchase a complete acre and plant with 1075 sapling trees.

“We hope to roll out this ‘pledge’ from January 2007’ said Sean Nutley, Chief Operations Officer, Silverdell Plc. “We trust that everyone involved with Silverdell will support this very important cause.”
