Silverdell PLC raced in a fully branded boat at Cowes Yacht Haven in order to raise money for the annual charitable event.

The Little Britain Challenge Cup is organised by and for the Construction Industry, with 126 boats participating in this years’ regatta. Most of the major architects and contractors participated in the event, many of which are high level industry professionals and key decision makers.

The Little Britain Challenge Cup supports many charities including the following: The Ellen MacArthur Trust; Jubilee Sailing Trust; Paralympic Sailing Team and The Cirdan Sailing Trust. It is the largest sailing event outside of the world-famous Cowes week and one of the most prestigious sailing events in the construction industry. Although all of the competitive action was at sea, on shore the entertainment was immense, from parties to formal Gala dinners that were held throughout the three day networking event.

Sean Nutley – Chief Executive, Silverdell PLC said “This is the first time Silverdell PLC has been involved with the Little Britain Challenge Cup and we thoroughly enjoyed raising money for the nominated charities and sharing industry best-practice with our client’s and fellow industry professionals-alike.”

The Silverdell Group provide managed solutions for asbestos, industrial, remediation and environmental services. Working with partners in public, private, construction and industrial markets, we are committed to creating an improved environment in which to live and work.
