| Hospital "Filantropia" Craiova received a dontation of £10,000 in the presence of the town mayor and British Embassey representatives last week in Romania.
Silverdell asked the town to choose a hospital for their donation, and the mayor chose
Filantropia "because it is a poorly funded municipal hospital, where they treat a lot of deprived people," said Prof. Dr. Doina Carstea, director Hospital care "Filantropia" Craiova.
The Executive Heath Unit said that all money received will be used for equipping the hospital wards for children with a biochemistry analyzer, worth about 10,000 euros.
Mihai Coman, Hospital Manager, Filantropia said “We have a machine which is around 10 years old, so this new equipment is extremely welcome”
Jeremy Miles - Group Marketing Director, Silverdell presented the cheque.
Silverdell have recently completed an asbestos removal project at the Ford plant in Craiova.
