Silverdell were the first organisation in the asbestos industry to recognise the importance of internal auditing, procedures which have now become industry standard. We are accredited OHSAS 18001: 2007 and were one of the first asbestos contractors to achieve CHAS Accreditation.

Our detailed method statements are designed to ensure each project is delivered safely, an integral part of our ISO 9001:2000 accreditation. Partner contractors and each client are fully consulted. A rigorous auditing system is used to monitor performance including both internal and external sources. CHAS and ARCA’s nationally recognised Site Audit scheme are key external monitoring agencies.

Silverdell have a current 3 year HSE licence which is unrestricted for all asbestos removal.

Silverdell have achieved RoSPA's Gold Award for two consecutive years and achieved accreditation with the British Safety Council in recognition of ongoing commitment to health and safety. We are Safecontractor approved also. These awards are primarily about demonstrating that robust health and safety systems are integral to our systems of work. They help us to re-inforce the message that good health and safety is part of best practice, and represent a core part of Silverdell's comittment to achieving high levels of performance in this area consistently."
