Asbestos Training

SAFE (Silverdell Academy for Excellence) was born out of the idea that the training for Asbestos Removal Operatives was confined to three days to learn about all aspects of the industry. The CSCS does not accredit asbestos removal training, and to date, the industry has relied on Regulatory Guidelines (HSG 247).

As we see this, our operatives and supervisors needed to understand more about the structure of the building, necessary safety aspects, how to deal with such a hazardous waste product, comply with the increasing regulatory requirement and be in a position to make the best recommendations about approach to a client on site.

To address this, we have developed a modular, skill based training system which is flexible, designed for our industry needs to meet your needs. The training that is much wider than current regulatory requirements enables our people to focus on enhanced levels of efficiency, lower levels of defects, full compliance with regulations and at a lower cost.
